Can we all admit that relationships can be hard? I mean not all the time but the ones where you are two committed people trying to leave a purposeful relationship. It comes with tolerance but still love for your partner. It comes with seeing your partner as your best friend and playmate. It also comes with arguments and disagreement but still coming together at the end of the day to make it work. It comes with accommodating one another and being committed. It will also come with flared up emotions and wondering if this is the person you’re actually with and want to spend the rest of your life with( that’s if you want that). It comes with annoyance and forgiveness. To be honest, it is true that we are not perfect human beings but we should strive to be better and learn from our mistakes. Some people have deal breakers when it comes to relationships but sometimes you see yourself accepting some of those things you call deal breakers because of how much you love the person.

Relationships comes with vulnerability and seeing your partner as your best friend. As for me, I prioritize respect and peace of mind when I’m in a relationship. I want to be with someone that will add to my peace. I don’t mind arguing with my partner but it shouldn’t be everyday because I don’t have strength for that. I want to be with someone that I can learn from. We can grow together and learn together. I want to be with someone that’s honest and committed to me. Cheating is a whole emotional roller coaster and I’m sure nobody likes being cheated on. What is making me get scared of being in a relationship is that people are not honest. You would see that most guys would just see a fine girl and say relationship as if they are ready for it. It’s a whole investment and I want to be with someone that’s as serious as being with me. Honesty is key for me and I appreciate it a lot when a guy tells me he doesn’t want to a have relationship with me than entering into one with me and is not ready to put in the work as much as I do.
