Living alone

I have had my fair share on living alone and it has its pros and cons. Let's start with the pros. I had the freedom to go anywhere and stay out late without seeking the permission of my parents. That's all. You're surprised right? That is literally the only advantage I experienced with living alone. Maybe I would say it made me become more responsible which was not an issue because I was also responsible while I was in the university. Now let's move to the cons. Sometimes you may feel lonely and in as much as I may want my friends over, I would still crave to be on my own in my apartment. I don't mind going out with them or going to their house but when I'm at my place, I would still crave to be alone. The major reason why living alone sucks to me is that money is leaving your account every minute. Throughout my days of living alone, I tried to save up as much as I can but it was to no avail. Because you have to buy food, data, fuel, pay for dstv, buy gas, pay for security, and all that. It wasn't easy at all. Sometimes i would think to myself that I'm supposed to have savings by now. I lived alone for a year and some months and I already got tired. I would want to spend money on myself like buying new clothes, jewelry, etc, but I couldn't do it as much.
At least if I was living with my parents, they would offer me money here and there and I wouldn't have to worry about transport. I would be able to save up even if I were to be working. The economy isn't even helping because tell me why I would buy something today and the price have doubled by next week making my savings invalid. The good news is I'm back to living with my parents because they are not chasing me away from their house and they would let me go out, I just have to come back at a given time. And that is okay for me. I really commend those that live on their own and are paying rent and bills because honestly it's not easy at all.
